Transport booked

We've finally done it. We have actually booked!

Last night's excitement has turned into today's panick....what am I going to wear, what do I need to take, is it really going to be that cold?

I've started the research and am hoping that we will be taken under the wing of those experienced at such events as this - Climate Camp. As Leeds Student was not deemed to be a 'bonafide' newspaper (despite being the Guardian #1) and I was not deemed to be a 'professional' journalist (despite my NUJ card) we have not been granted press access by the UN. The University of Leeds is sending some representatives, one of which is a PHD student, who I am hoping to contact. Maybe he will want a break one day and I can go and take his seat next to Barack. It seems though that the real action will be outside of the talks and we will be there.

So, no real plans as yet, apart from hopefully arriving and finding a piece of ground to lay our sleeping bags on.
